Vegetarian Foods
Vegetarianism is the theory or practice of living upon vegetable and fruits. The root of Vegetarianism come from Latin word “Vegetus” which means be full, fresh and be joyful. Vegetarianism was practiced about 1,000 years ago; mostly of practisers are Jainism, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism (one of religious system in Iran, founded by Zoroaster), Buddhism and another religious. After that they establish association of the vegetarianism first time in 1874 at Manchester and increase the branch.
Component of vegetarian foods
1. Soy protein make of soybean flour without fat, high nutrition, low price, easy to keep and use. Soy protein substitutes for the protein in meat.
2. Bean curd which is the product from soybean.
3. Brown rice is high nutrition be composed of 7-12 % of protein and more than 20 minerals and vitamins. Preventive the disease such as beriberi, canker and anemia.
4. Mushroom substitutes for the meat, which includes amino acid and mineral.
5. Soybean has free radical which can help to dissolve cholesterol.
6. Wheat flour is used to make fake meat ball, fake meat and fake squid.
7. Several kinds of seed such as sunflower seed, pumpkin seed, watermelon seed, lotus seed and another bean seeds.
